Endocrinologist Opportunity with Inova Health System

Inpatient Endocrinologist Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative inpatient endocrine care for a diverse patient population.
- Work closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and other specialists to manage endocrine conditions in hospitalized patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and oversee transitions of care from inpatient to outpatient settings.
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in endocrinology to deliver evidence-based care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited institution. Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Experience: Open to both new graduates and experienced endocrinologists. Inpatient experience is a plus.
- Licensure: Current unrestricted Virginia medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
Work Schedule & Locations:
Shifts: Monday - Friday, with a 1:9 on-call rotation.
Locations: Inova's hospitals and clinics across Northern Virginia.
