Foster School of Medicine of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso is seeking an Academic Endocrinologist to join the faculty at its Transmountain location, with academic rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. In partnership with The Hospitals of Providence (Tenet Healthcare), faculty contribute to the education of medical students and resident physicians through a 15-15-15 Internal Medicine residency program, which completed training of its inaugural cohort in 2024. This unique opportunity invites you to join a dynamic Department of Internal Medicine in a rapidly growing region, where you can help shape the future of medical education and enhance patient care across West Texas and Southern New Mexico.

Requirements
Requirements: M.D. / D.O., board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, successful completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship Endocrinology program, licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas, strong interest in teaching and advancing clinician educator career.
Preferred Qualifications:
Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine
Board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine
Experience as a hospitalist in a community hospital setting
Experience in teaching medical students and residents
Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of Associate Professor or higher
