CHI Good Samaritan is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join our team in Kearney, NE. This 200 bed Level II Trauma center with internal flight and EMS services. It provides comprehensive care not only to Central Nebraska but also serves as a regional referral center. It has a 24-bed open ICU and 24/7 hospitalist service.

- Well Baby Nursery Rounding
- Conducting thorough medical examinations, including growth and development assessments, to diagnose and treat various pediatric conditions.
- Providing preventive care, vaccinations, and immunizations to promote overall health and prevent illnesses.
- Evaluating and managing acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections in pediatric patients.
- Developing personalized treatment plans and monitoring patients' progress over time, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Educating parents and caretakers on child health, nutrition, safety, and other relevant topics.
- Conducting screenings for developmental delays, behavioral issues, and mental health concerns, and providing appropriate referrals and interventions.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.Staying informed about the latest medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and pediatric research. Adhering to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
