Description: Two openings!- Seeking two Pediatric Endocrinologists to join its Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism.
- This center is the most comprehensive regional program for pediatric endocrine disorders, diabetes, and metabolism, offering multidisciplinary care, clinical trials, and fellowship training.
- The role is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist eager to grow in an academic, research-driven environment with opportunities for clinical care, mentorship, and translational research in childhood obesity and diabetes.
COLLABORATION HIGHLIGHTS
Accomplishments
- Working with a renowned Pediatric Endocrinologist and his clinical research in the prevention of Type 1 diabetes and new pharmacological treatments for Type 2 diabetes, including studies on innovative insulin delivery methods like continuous glucose monitoring systems.
- Involved in exploring community engagement and peer mentoring to enhance pediatric diabetes care. Recognized as one of America's Best Doctors in 2013 and 2014.
- Additionally, he served as a former pediatric IRB chair, contributing to ethical research practices.

Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology

- Experience in clinical trials, obesity research, or diabetes care preferred
- Experience mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students
SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
- Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes management
- Pediatric obesity treatment
- Clinical trials in endocrinology
- Multi-disciplinary care coordination- Preferred: Candidates with experience in translational research or outcomes research
