Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Carolina, seeks board certified/board eligible Endocrinologists to join our growing team in Columbia. The position offers the opportunity to teach residents and fellows and to expand adult endocrinology services throughout these regions.

The Division of Endocrinology has a long history of treating patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings with a variety of endocrine conditions, including diabetic and metabolic disorders. In South Carolina, there is a strong collaboration with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with Fellows and rotating students.

•           Join a team of 4 MDs, and 1 NP
•           The practice has an ADA certified diabetes self-management program, pump training and diabetes research and a Pharm D.
•           Our Thyroid Center performs thyroid ultrasound, FNAB and CGMS
•           We have a strong interdisciplinary pituitary care program with Neurosurgery
•           Teaching involvement is for the endocrine component of the Internal Medicine residency program and medical school, University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
•           The practice is mostly outpatient, with a light hospital consult load.
•           Call shared equally
