CentraCare Clinic is part of CentraCare Health System, which was founded in 1995. It consists of one regional medical center (St. Cloud Hospital), four rural hospitals, 11 clinics, and four long-term care facilities. The system serves more than 650,000 people in a 12-county area and offers a variety of outreach services to more than 25 communities.

St. Cloud Hospital is Central Minnesota's largest regional medical center. Licensed for 489 beds, the hospital was designated a Magnet hospital in 2004 and puts pride in retaining caring, skilled professionals who are committed to quality. St. Cloud Hospital has the most comprehensive trauma and emergency center in the region, which includes air ambulance service provided through Life Link. Designated as a Level II Trauma Center, the unit is staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and specially trained nurses who are certified in trauma care and advanced life support.
