Located in Joplin, Missouri, Freeman Health System is a 460-bed, three-hospital system providing comprehensive health care and behavioral health services to an area that includes more than 450,000 residents from Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Freeman is a nationally recognized, physician-driven, community-owned, not-for-profit full-service tertiary care center with over 70% of the market share in managed care contracts. With more than 300 physicians on staff representing more than 60 specialties, Freeman provides cancer care, heart and vascular care, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, children’s services and women’s services.
