Munson Medical Center is a 391-bed tertiary care facility located in northwest lower Michigan. It has the region’s largest medical staff with more than 500 physicians representing 50 specialties.
Munson Medical Center’s reputation for high quality care is evidenced by repeated national recognition: 100 Top Hospitals® 14 times, making Munson Medical Center one of only a few hospitals nationwide to receive this award so often; 2009 and 2008 recipient of the Everest Award for National Benchmarks; 2008 recipient of the American Hospital Association-McKesson Quest for Quality Prize™; sole recipient of the National Quality Health Care award for 2000 (National Committee for Quality Health Care).
