Prevea Health is the largest physician-owned organization in the region with nearly 200 providers practicing at 16 clinical locations in metropolitan Green Bay, Marinette, Oconto, Plymouth, Pulaski, Sheboygan and Door County. Prevea works in partnership with St. Vincent Hospital (www.stvgb.org) and St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center (www.stmgb.org) in Green Bay and St. Nicholas Hospital (www.stnicholashospital.org) in Sheboygan.
As a physician-owned organization, Prevea gives physicians a decision-making voice that is hard to find in today’s corporate health care world.
Company History
Prevea Health formed in 1996 when three independent clinics partnered with St. Mary’s and St. Vincent Hospitals in Green Bay. The physicians maintain 50 percent ownership in the partnership. As owners, physicians play integral roles in the clinic’s continued growth throughout the Green Bay and Sheboygan areas.
