Upper Chesapeake Health is a 2-hospital health system located in northeastern Maryland, between Baltimore and Philadelphia. Service area includes Harford Memorial Hospital, a 110-bed hospital in Havre de Grace, MD at the top of the Chesapeake Bay, and Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, a 185-bed facility which opened in 2000 in Bel Air, Maryland.
This not-for-profit health system is committed to a Culture of Excellence and Upper Chesapeake Medical was named Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence by HealthGrades two years in a row.

Founded in 1984 in Harford County, Maryland, Upper Chesapeake Health is dedicated to maintaining and improving the health of the people in our communities through an integrated health delivery system that provides high quality care to all. Upper Chesapeake's diabetes services include a Diabetes and Endocrine Center in the brand new Physician Pavilion on the campus of Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, as well as a private office located near Havre de Grace, Maryland, a few miles from Harford Memorial Hospital.
