VCU Health is an urban academic health system located in the mid-Atlantic region based in Richmond, Virginia.  We are a Level 1 Trauma Center serving residents in Virginia and beyond.  We have 18 clinical departments offering 92 residency and fellowship programs with ever-growing clinical and research initiatives.  VCU Health includes Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, Massey Cancer Center, Pauley Heart Center, Virginia Treatment Center for Children (behavioral health residential treatment center for children and adolescents), to name a few.   Our physician-driven, patient-centered care model reflects the values and vision of an outstanding integrated academic practice.  In addition to our main hospital in Richmond, we have two additional hospitals - VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital located in South Hill, VA, 75 miles south of Richmond, and 75 miles north of Raleigh-Durham, NC, and VCU Health Tappahannock Hospital 40 miles northeast of Richmond.  We offer primary and specialty care services in various suburban locations throughout the areas we serve.
